Hi Mamas,

I just wanted to say thanks again for visiting my website and I hope I have inspired you to think of new ideas and activities for you and your little ones. I also hope that I have linked you to moms in your area and you have made some great connections. For your information, here is a little bio of me and the development of this website:

I live in Davie, Florida with my husband, Thomas and two children Nicholas (3) and Madelyn (1). I graduated from Missouri Southern State University with a B.S. in Psychology in May of 1998 and from there I went into the United States Navy as a Naval Officer. I met my husband in the service when we were stationed in Hawaii and would move back there in a second!! I have been working toward my masters in Rehabilitation Counseling to help families stay strong and together, which I believe is monumental to our children of today. I decided to put my career on hold for my family when I was pregnant with my first child Nicholas and have NEVER regretted the decision.

The development of this website came after my daughter was born when I suffered through a severe depression period. I did not want other mothers to go through the same hard time I went through w/o friends or classes. I hope this website can bring people together and help mothers or caregivers connect with their children. Through my own connections, I have reached out to others for help and have also become more involved. I am the co-president of the Davie MOMS club and have enjoyed the time making new friends and meeting new people every week. So to all mothers out there, I wish you all the best and please visit me again! Thank you to all of my friends in the MOMS club and my friends from classes, for your support, encouragement and patience.
