Keep it simple:

Find basic canning equipment (jars and lids) at your local Costco, Sams, Big Lots, or Grocer. Under no circumstances should there be any additives other than the foods you want to make. No sugar…No salt…

Take the desired vegetable and cut it up in smaller pieces. Bring to a quick boil to tenderize it. The moment it becomes tender, put it in a colander. Strain it but reserve some of the strained liquid. Run very cold water on it to "shock" it. Keep the food a little wet because it will aid in processing it. Chop the food in a food processor adding only the reserved liquid only as necessary to make the food smooth enough for a child to eat. Add the processed food to the canning jars. Place jars in refrigerator. Try and use it within 2 - 3 weeks.

*FUN TIP*:

Put the processed food in an ice cube tray. Wrap the tray with cellophane. Freeze it. When your little one is ready to eat, pop out one frozen cube, microwave for a few seconds until warm and serve.
